Our Expertise
FMEA is one of the tools that allow design engineers to “get in front” of bad situations. We imagine unfortunate scenarios, then ask:
- How likely is it to happen?
- How bad would it be if it did happen?
- How difficult is it, now, to make sure it doesn’t happen?
These things are quantified, weighted, and combined in a mathematical equation to determine what gets the most attention from the engineering team.
