Circuit design is fundamental to what we do. It begins with defining electrical requirements and establishing an electrical system architecture that optimizes for regulatory, safety, and reliability goals. We have experience with designing power, audio, video, motor control, RF, and many other types of circuits. PCB types we normally work with include rigid, flex, rigid-flex, and metal core PCBs. Schematic Capture is typically executed in eCAD (Altium) and used as the basis for PCB Layout and for generating manufacturing content including Gerber files and a Bill Of Materials (BOM).
Most PCBAs are highly integrated, which is to say that they are designed to accomplish many different functions:
- Power supply, including isolation and protection circuitry
- Battery Management
- Digital and wireless communications (the core of IoT)
- Data acquisition / Analog-to-Digital conversion
- Telemetry and onboard data logging
- User interface
