Last month, the Porticos family spent a day volunteering with Habitat for Humanity.
On Thursday, October 26th, our engineers swapped desks for hardhats and worked on several homes in Habitat Wake’s Old Poole Place community. Located at Old Poole Road near New Hope Road in Southeast Raleigh, this neighborhood will eventually include 60 single-family homes and 45 townhomes.
The Porticos team worked side-by-side with recent and aspiring Habitat homeowners on everything from framing to roofing to landscaping.
This is our fourth Habitat volunteer day, and we were delighted to be on our feet, out in the sunshine, doing something good for the community.
