Porticos Helps Integrian Pass Vibration Specification– a Key Milestone for Customer Acceptance

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC — Porticos, a mechanical design and product development services firm in Research Triangle Park, recently helped Integrian pass a performance requirement representing a key milestone in bringing their product to market. Ich-Kien Lao, founder of Integrian said, “We had an existing mechanical enclosure design that could not meet the stringent vibration requirements that our customers were expecting. We turned to Porticos to help provide a solution. They were able to use software to simulate the performance of the existing design and model the necessary changes required to pass the specification. Vibration is a tricky discipline. Porticos saved us a lot of time and money from trial and error, prototyping, and testing. Their experience, mechanical expertise, and persistence helped us focus in on the necessary modifications to produce a better performing product for our customers.”

Jonathan DeLine, President of Porticos, commented, “This was a very challenging project. We are very focused on building a deep competency in mechanical design and the outcome of this project speaks highly of our team’s ability to meet that objective. Our success is dependent on our customer’s success. We are very happy that we can help Integrian meet a key milestone in launching their product and look forward to contributing to their future success.” Porticos plans to showcase more details about this project and how they design solutions in a case study when the product becomes commercially available later this year.
